Krystal Key Beach Resort has announced energy-saving additions to its amenity package that include a motion detection thermostat system and solar windows. The newly designed thermostat systems are manufactured by Coastal Green Air of Gulf Shores, Ala.

of Krystal Holdings LLC, said iPachie Motion Detection Commercial Appliance Thermostats are a great choice for investment properties including condominiums where the property may remain unoccupied for extended periods.

“One of the cost-saving features of the iPachie thermostat is that it turns off the HVAC system if a door or window remains open for more than two minutes,” Phillips said. “The average annual savings of utility costs range from 33 to 47 percent per year. For spaces larger than 1,200 square feet, such as Krystal Key Beach Resort units, the savings should be even greater.”

With at least seven units and one penthouse already reserved, plans call for construction to begin in 2019 at 16567 Perdido Key Drive.

Located on 200 feet of beachfront on the Gulf of Mexico, the 10-story project will feature 30 four- and five-bedroom units all with direct, unobstructed views of the Gulf. The development is now in the pre-construction phase. The residences range from 2,340 square feet for a four bedroom to 3,909 square feet for the remaining Penthouse. Individual unit sales prices range from $1,395,000 to $2,995,000.

The resort includes 14 corner units with four bedrooms and four baths and 14 interior units with four bedrooms and four baths including two Gulf-front master bedrooms.
